THIS IS A RELEASE OF LIABILITY - READ BEFORE AGREEING, ONCE YOU INITIAL AND SUBMIT YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AGREEMENT TO THE TERMS AS WRITTEN HERE.

IN CONSIDERATION of being permitted to participate in any way in the sport and activities of Robotic Combat
under the auspices of the Northeast Robotics Club, I acknowledge, appreciate, and agree that:

1.) The risk of injury from this activity and weaponry involved in robotic combat is significant, including the
potential for permanent disability and death, and while particular protective equipment and personal
discipline will minimize this risk, the risk of serious injury does exist.

2.) I KNOWINGLY AND FREELY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS, both known and unknown, EVEN IF ARISING
FROM THE NEGLIGENCE of those persons released from liability below, and assume full responsibility for
my participation; and,

3.) I understand that the activities of robotic combat are physically and mentally intense. I understand the rules
of competition and will comply with all the rules and regulations. If I observe any unusual or unnecessary
hazard during my participation, I will bring such to the attention of the nearest official as soon as practical;
and

4.) I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigned personal representatives and next of kin, HEREBY
RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS THE Northeast Robotics Club (NERC), its officers and crew, and the
owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the robotic combat activities, their officers, officials, agents
and/or employees (“Releases”), WITH RESPECT TO ANY AND ALL INJURY, DISABILITY, DEATH, or
loss or damage to personal property, WHETHER CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASES
OR OTHERWISE, except that which is in the result of gross negligence and/or wanton misconduct.

5.) I understand and agree that this Release of Liability Agreement covers each and every robotic combat
activity in which I participate.

6.) I irrevocably grant permission to the Club and its agents, licensees and licensors nonexclusively to utilize my
and my robots name and image or likeness in published photographs or incidental to any live or recorded
video display or other transmission or reproduction in whole or in part of any Event. The Competitor
understands and agrees that (a) any photographs, films, videotapes or other audio or visual recordings
created by the Club or it’s staff will be the sole property of the Club and (b) the Club or any appropriate staff
member may edit, preserve, destroy or release all or any part of such photographs, films, videotapes or other audio or visual recordings

As a participant of Motorama Races and Shows, I agree to hereby hold harmless the organizers, sponsors, and participants of the Event from any claims of loss and/or harm regarding the same event. I agree to abide by all standards and rules set forth by organizers of the same event. I have my own personal health insurance. Should I be injured and need to be transferred by ambulance to a local hospital, I agree to assume all financial responsibility related to my transport. By checking the box below, I hereby agree to accept under reasonable conditions the final judgment and award of prizes of the participating judges of the same event. In addition, I allow the Event and selected sponsors photo rights of my vehicle taken at the event for use in any form or manner. I understand and accept all the rules and claim in my submission that all the above information is correct and understand that any false information may jeopardize my eligibility in this competition. Furthermore, by entering my initials below I understand and acknowledge that Pre-Registration is nonrefundable and that I will not charge back this order.
